Bio

Coach Noxon is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, as well as, the Defensive Backs Coach. His coaching career spans a total of 18 years and has coached multiple positions on both offense and defense.

 From 2009-2014 he coached Safeties, OLBS, and TEs at his Alma Mater, Nevada Union High School. In 2009, He helped lead a Nevada Union Team that went 12-1, won a SJS title, and was ranked in the top 10 in Division 1 football in California. In his time at Nevada Union he had 4 All Conference Players at multiple positions.

From 2015-2016 He was the Defensive Coordinator, Secondary Coordinator, and RBs Coach for River Vally High School in Yuba City. He led them to the playoffs in his first season and had two players that received All Conference honors at both RB and DB.

In 2017 he began his Butte College tenure as the CBs coach. After 1 season he began to coach the entirety of the Defensive Backs group that included Cornerbacks, Safeties and Nickels as well as an expanded role as a special team’s assistant under Special Teams Coordinator Matt Phipps. Coach Noxon stayed in that role until 2021. From 2017-2021 he had multiple All-Nor Cal Conference selections as well as 1 All-Region performer in Safety Cameron Alfaro.

In 2021 and 2022 Coach Noxon worked as the Cornerbacks Coach at two top 25 NCAA Division 2 Colleges in the University of Sioux Falls and Central Washington University. In 2021 he coached Dorian Fedrick who was a 1st team All NSIC Selection as well as Division 2 Region 4 1st team Selection. In 2022 He Coach Patrick Rodgers who received 1st team All American in all rankings platforms and was voted as one of Division2.com’s top 100 players. Patrick Rodgers graduated from CWU and is now in the CFL.

Coach Noxon returned to Butte College in February 2023 and served as the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator, as well as the Defensive Backs Coach. In October 2023, Coach Noxon took over the position as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator along with his Defensive Back coaching duties. Since his return he has coached numerous All Conference/ All-Region players, as well as, two All-Americans in Bryson Snelling and Zack Valcarcel
