Dear Butte Athletics Supporter,
The past couple of years have been challenging for all of us as COVID-19 has continued to affect us in so many ways. And our student-athletes at Butte College are no different. Even without a normal athletics season in 2020-21 and a number of interruptions last year, our student-athletes had to overcome so many obstacles to get to where we are today - FINALLY back to competition and hungry for success both on the field of play and in the classroom. And we were VERY successful in 2021-22.
Each year we strive to build upon our great athletics foundation and look to the future for ways to grow and improve. Given that we are a state-funded community college, our operating budgets do not match the quality that we are committed to provide for our student-athletes. Butte College Athletics again needs your partnership so that we are able to reach our goals and continue to operate at a championship level.
The Butte College Athletics Century Club continues to be a way to build support for all of our Butte Roadrunner student-athletes, as well as inform and educate the community about our accomplishments and the challenges we face to preserve our amazing legacy.
In the short time that I have been at Butte College, I have been so impressed and humbled by the support of our loyal fans that understand the value of a community college education and what we strive to achieve.
On behalf of Butte College Athletics and all of our former and current student-athletes, I encourage you to partner with us through the Century Club. And we all thank you so much in advance for your support!
BC PRIDE!
