98 Student-Athletes Tabbed Scholar-Athletes

Oroville, Calif. - The Butte Athletics Department boasted 98 scholar-athletes in the Spring 2022 semester, led by the baseball team with 22 selections.

Overall, 60 student-athletes achieved at least a 3.5 GPA and 20 had a perfect 4.0 GPA

To be eligible for scholar-athlete status, a minimum 3.0 GPA is required, as well as the student-athlete must have completed at least 12 units. Additionally, the student must have been cleared for competition and listed on the team's respective Form 3.

The Spring 2022 Scholar-Athletes will be honored at halftime during the football season opener against College of the Sequoias on Saturday, Sept. 3.
