Meyers Inks with Chico State

Oroville, Calif. - Freshman right-handed pitcher All-Golden Valley Conference selection Logan Meyers has inked with Chico State, announced Thursday.

Meyers completed his career with the Roadrunners with a 17-7 overall record on 32 appearances and 31 starts on the mound over three seasons, including the two shortened COVID-19 campaigns. As a starting pitcher, he threw a total of 180.0 innings with 137 strikeouts, averaging 6.85 strikeouts per nine innings. In the 2022 campaign, he went 9-4 on 17 starts with 99.1 innings pitched. He posted a 4.35 ERA, averaging 6.43 strikeouts per nine innings.

Meyers joins Butte teammate Peter Andrews on the Wildcat roster. Chico State (NCAA Division II) completed 2022 with a 34-15 overall record, 27-12 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play.
