McCarthy Tabbed CCCBCA NorCal Player of the Week

Oroville, Calif. - Sophomore outfielder Ryan McCarthy has been named the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) Player of the Week for Week 2, announced Wednesday.

Last week, McCarthy had a hot bat at the plate, going 10-for-14 (.714) with a double and four home runs for a 1.642 slugging percentage. He amassed 12 RBI, scored seven runs, and drew three walks. And on defense, he was errorless. 

McCarthy's efforts led the team to a 4-0 week, outscoring their opponents 52-15, and earning the team's second series sweep of the season.

This is McCarthy's first Player of the Week honor and the first for Butte this season.
