Quinton Gago joined the Butte baseball staff in 2022 and serves as the outfield coach, as well as assisting Dave O'Hair with the hitters and day-to-day procedures on and off the field.

Gago played two years of varsity baseball at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, Calif. He was named All-League first team as san outfielder as a senior. Following his prep career, he played baseball for two years at Butte College before transferring to Sterling College (NAIA) in Sterling, Kan. He played for two seasons after the 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19, playing first base and hitting in the five or six hole. After the team was riddled with injuries in 2022, Gago took to the mound to finish his collegiate career.

As a Roadrunner along with Frankie Cleary, Gago played an intregal role on the 2019 squad that culminated in 31 wins. He only pitched in his first season with Butte before transitioning to a position player as a sophomore, which allowed him to learn more useful knowledge about the Butte baseball program from both aspects of the game.

Gago resides in Los Molinos, Calif., and graduated in May 2022 with a BA in Clinical Psychology.
