York to Join Eastern Washington Football

Oroville, Calif. - Two-sport student-athlete Austin York will continue his football career at Eastern Washington, announced Tuesday.

After successful baseball and football careers at Butte College, York ultimately chose to pursue his football opportunities.

"I'll forever be grateful for this place and what it has done for me," York said.

York emulates what it means to be a Butte College student-athlete. He has a near perfect GPA, already has an AA, earned a conference title with baseball (2021) and football (2021), and he also scored a touchdown and hit a home run at Santa Rosa this academic year to lead both teams to wins.

He is the son of Butte defensive line coach, Kevin, and Butte head softball coach, Stayce.
