Ramseur Heading to Morehead State

Oroville, Calif. - Running back Caleb Ramseur has signed with NCAA Division I FCS Morehead State, announced Tuesday.

Ramseur garnered All-Region and All-National NorCal honors at the end of the 2022 season after averaging 74.4 yards per game. Overall, he amassed 1,148 career rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

"I wish I could play here one more year; I don't want to leave Butte," Ramseur said. "I love this place, and it's been great in my development as a player and a person. The thing I learned the most while I was here was hard work - working hard every day and getting it done. Coach Funk taught me to focus on today and not tomorrow. If you want to be great, you can do it, you just have to do the work."

Morehead State is located in Morehead, Ky. In 2022, the program, led by 10-year head coach Rob Tenyer, went 2-9 overall, 1-7 in the Pioneer League.
