Lane to Join the Thundering Herd

Oroville, Calif. - Defensive lineman Thomas Lane is heading to West Virginia to join the Marshall Thundering Herd football program, announced Sunday.

Lane played in all 11 games during the 2022 season, amassing 35 total tackles, 19 solo. Additionally, he tallied a pair of sacks for 14 yards, 5.5 tackles for loss for 25 yards, and forced three fumbles. 

Marshall finished 2022 with a 9-4 mark, 5-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, good for third in the East Division. The Thundering Herd defeated UConn in the Myrtle Beach Bowl to wrap the slate under second-year head coach Charles Huff.
