Eureka, Calif. - Sophomore Ozzy Meadows posted a game-high 18 points, but the Butte men's basketball team fell at Redwoods, 65-62, on Saturday afternoon.
Meadows shot 8-for-13 from the field, nearly adding a double-double with nine rebounds. Freshman Marvelous Owens was the other Roadrunner to reach double figures with 13 points on 62.5 percent shooting from the field with seven boards, a pair of assists, and five steals coming off the bench.
Sophomore Marvin Lee chipped in eight points, while freshman Taylor Keating racked up 10 rebounds with three assists.
The Roadrunners (8-11, 0-2) head to Siskiyous next for a mid-week contest on Wednesday, Jan. 18. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
