Roadrunners Down Knights, 80-68

Oroville, Calif. - Sophomores Rolontae Knowles and Isaac Wood combined for 39 points as the Butte men's basketball team downed Shasta, 80-68, Saturday afternoon.

Knowles led all scorers with 20 points, adding a game-high 16 rebounds. Wood posted 19 points on 66.7 percent shooting with three rebounds and a pair of blocks, assists, and steals.

Sophomore Ozzy Meadows added 15 points, while freshman Marvelous Owens rounded out the scorers in double-figures with 14 points off the bench and 10 rebounds.

Butte held the Knights at arm's length, taking a 13-point lead into the locker room at halftime behind Woods' and Knowles' 15 and 10 point performances, respectively. 

The Roadrunners (10-11, 2-2) remain at home, hosting Lassen next on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m.
