Men's Basketball Comes Up Short against Redwoods on Sophomore Day

Oroville, Calif. - The Butte men's basketball team came up short against Redwoods, 88-80, on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomores Rolontae Knowles, Marvin Lee, Keaton Massey, Ozzy Meadows, Ed Mejia, and Issac Wood were all honored prior to tipoff in their final regular season home game at Butte College.
Meadows posted a team-high 21 points with five boards and a pair of assists, while Knowles added 19 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Wood tallied 11 points, while freshman Marvelous Owens rounded out the top scorers for the Roadrunners with 12 poitns, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Lee chipped in a nine-point, five rebound effort off the bench.
Butte (13-13, 5-4) wrap the regular season at Lassen on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m.
