Knowles Inks with Spring Hill College

Oroville, Calif. - Butte men's basketball forward Rolontae Knowles has inked with NCAA Division II Spring Hill College, announced Thursday.

Knowles played in 55 games for the Roadrunners, averaging 15.2 points per game on 48.8 percent shooting over his two-year career. Last season, he averaged 16.5 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game. He scored double figures in all but five games, including a career-high 28 points at Foothill, counting five double-doubles on the season.

"Butte has meant a lot," Knowles said. "I would say that Butte is the best stepping stone I could have ever chosen. I could have gone to a lot of different schools coming out of high school, but I'm very proud and more than happy that I picked Butte."

Knowles was named to the 2022 and 2023 All-Golden Valley Conference First Team, while also being named a Butte College Scholar-Athlete throughout his career.

Spring Hill College is located in Mobile, Ala. The team finished 8-18 overall, 5-14 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during the 2022-23 season under fourth-year head coach Craig Kennedy.
