Oakland, Calif. - Sophomore Quintin Benn-John paced the Butte men's soccer offense in the Roadrunners' 4-0 win over Merritt on Thursday afternoon.
Benn-John tallied a pair of goals and assists with his scores coming in the 18th and 28th minutes. He assisted sophomore Bruno Lago Pujol's go-ahead goal in the first minute before feeding freshman Eivind Bergslokken's score in the 84th minute.
Freshman Noris Iten earned a pair of saves at keeper.
The Roadrunners (4-1-3) return home to host Yuba on Friday, Sept. 23. Match time is 12 p.m.
