Oroville, Calif. - The Butte men's soccer team earned its third shutout of the week with a 3-0 rout of Yuba on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Simon Huebner led off the scoring for the Roadrunners in the second minute with freshman Shinkai Kojima picking up the assist. Freshman George Shaw followed him with a score in the 35th minute off a feed from sophomore Sander Trevor. Freshman Mohamed Benguellal wrapped up the scoring for Butte on a goal in the 75th minute. Freshman Eivind Bergslokken counted the assist.

In the goal, freshman Noris Iten counted a pair of saves.

Butte (5-1-3) heads back out on the road, opening GVC play on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Redwoods. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
