Men's Soccer Duo Signs to DII Schools

Oroville, Calif. - Butte men's soccer duo forward Quintin Benn-John and defender Juan Tejeda-Moreno inked with NCAA Division II schools on Tuesday afternoon.

Benn-John will be heading to Biola University (La Mirada, Calif.), while Tejada-Moreno is going east to Daemen University (Amherst, N.Y.).

In his two years at Butte, Benn-John was an offensive force for the Roadrunners, playing in 43 matches and scoring 30 goals. He scored 12 goals, three gamewinners, in 2022 with seven assists. In his rookie season, he counted 18 goals with three assists, connecting on 28 total shots on goal. He was a two-time All-GVC First Team selection.

Tejada-Moreno played in 38 games over his career, scoring a pair of goals with five assists. He earned All-GVC Second Team honors in 2022.

The two are the first to sign of a slew of Butte men's soccer players during this offseason.
