Oroville, Calif. - Freshman defender Bram Bauer counted his first career goal in the 89th minute to help lead the Butte men's soccer team to a 1-1 tie against De Anza on Friday afternoon.
Freshman Shahin Adwan tallied the assist, while Bauer and sophomore Mohamed Benguellal earned the team's lone shots on goal.
Sophomore Noris Iten played all 90 minutes in the goal, counting a pair of saves.
Butte (0-1-2) stays home, hosting Folsom Lake next on Friday, Sept. 8 at 4 p.m.
