Cross Country Announces 2022 Slate

Oroville, Calif. - The Butte men's and women's cross country teams announced their 2022 slate on Wednesday.

The men's team, led by Liam Sehorn, will look to defend its 2021 Golden Valley Conference title, while the women's team, led by Alandra Swangler, will build on its successes from last season.

The teams will have three home events this season, opening the 2022 campaign at home with an intersquad meet on Saturday, Sept. 3 before hosting the Butte Invite on Friday, Oct. 7. The Roadrunners will wrap home competition by hosting the GVC Championships on Friday, Oct. 28.

Last season, Sehorn and Matthew Garcia were the two men to qualify for the CCCAA Championships with Sehorn posting a 52nd finish in the 166-competitor field. Swangler was the lone female to qualify, finishing 97th out of 154 racers.
