Softball Jumps to No. 1 in 3CFCA Coaches Poll

Oroville, Calif. - The Butte College softball team jumped to No. 1 in this week's 3CFCA Coaches Poll, announced Monday.

The team currently boasts a 33-1 record and is on state-long 25-game winning streak. The Roadrunners rank in the top 10 in the state in nearly every statistical category and lead the state in runs, hits, doubles, RBI, and extra base hits. 

Butte closes out the regular season with three conference doubleheaders starting with heading to Redwoods on Thursday, Apr. 14 for a 2 p.m. start. The team has back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday, Apr. 22 when it hosts Feather River, and Saturday, Apr. 23 when it hosts Shasta. Both doubleheaders are slated to begin at 12 p.m.
