Roadrunners Capture GVC Title; Finish Conference Play Undefeated

Oroville, Calif. - The Butte College softball team completed the 2022 regular season with a Golden Valley Conference (GVC) title after an undefeated run in conference play.

The Roadrunners await their postseason fate, to be announced on Saturday, Apr. 30, finishing the regular season on a 31-game winning streak and 39-1 overall. The team outscored its opponents in GVC play 218-13, 358-52 overall, tallying 13 shutouts in GVC play, 19 shutouts overall.

Overall, Butte leads the state in runs, hits, doubles, RBI, extra base hits, total bases, strikeouts, and shutouts.
