No. 2 Softball to Face No. 3 Santa Ana in First Round of State

Bakersfield, Calif. - The second-seeded Butte softball team will face third-seeded Santa Ana in the first round of the CCCAA Softball Championships on Thursday evening at 8 p.m.

The Roadrunners advanced to the state tournament after sweeping 15th-seeded Merced and 10th-seeded Folsom Lake.

Santa Ana, the four seed from the south, swept No. 9 Antelope Valley in Regionals and No. 5 Long Beach in Super Regionals.

Win or lose, the Roadrunners will play again on Friday, May 20 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $8 for senior citizens (60+), children 12 and under, students (with valid ID), and faculty and staff each day. All tickets must be purchased via the CCCAA Athletics Box Office. Fans can also follow along on the livestream at www.baosn.tv
