Six Softball Student-Athletes Sign with Four-Year Schools

Oroville, Calif. - Six Butte softball student-athletes signed with four-year schools, announced on Friday morning.

Sophomore outfielder Alexis Detwiler and freshman second baseman Ella Jolley led the way with NCAA Division I offers with Detwiler inking with Troy and Jolley heading to Fresno State.

Sophomores pitcher Kiya Hamar (Western New Mexico), shortstop Hayley Sites (Southern Baptist), pitcher/first baseman Maggie Smith (Eastern New Mexico), and catcher/third baseman Grace Steams (Southern Baptist) rounded out the group with NCAA Division II schools.
