Tait Paces No. 6 Roadrunners to 87-77 Win at Siskiyous

Weed, Calif. - Freshman Sarah Tait scored a game-high 29 points to lead the No. 6 Butte women's basketball team to a 87-77 win at Siskiyous on Saturday afternoon.

Tait shot 60 percent from the field and was 5-for-7 from beyond the arc. Sophomore Meghan Weinrich and freshman Jordan Arreola added 18 and 17 points, respectively, with Weinrich adding six steals and Arreola chipping in five assists. Sophomore Sanaya Shrader added six points and a game-high eight rebounds.

Butte (17-3, 2-1) return home to host Shasta in its home conference opener on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m.
