No. 1(N) Women's Basketball Faces No. 4(S) Cypress in Elite Eight

Oroville, Calif. - The northern region's top-seeded Butte women's basketball team will face No. 4(S) Cypress in the Elite Eight at the CCCAA State Championships on Friday, Mar. 10 at 5 p.m. Competition for the women's bracket take place at West Hills Lemoore.

The Roadrunners enter the matchup after dominating Merced, 96-54, in the CCCAA Regional Round Two and outlasting Folsom Lake, 74-63, in the CCCAA Regional Final. Overall, Butte enters the contest with a 26-3 record. The Chargers were the fifth-seed out of the south, boasting a 22-7 mark after defeating Ventura, 79-67, and upsetting Moorpark, 67-57 in the second and third round of 

CCCAA postseason ticket prices are in effect. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $8 for senior citizens (60+), children 12 and under, students (with valid ID), and faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased through the CCCAA Box Office. No cash will be accepted for entry.
