Monterey Park, Calif. - Five Roadrunners scored in double-figures as the No. 1 Butte women's basketball team wrapped up the 2023 calendar year with a 105-36 win over Oxnard in the final day of the Okawa Classic.

Freshman Morgan Trigueiro led all scorers with 23 points. Sophomore Aubrey Prunty and freshmen Karine Dhaliwal and Giselle Rodriguez added 15, 14, and 12 points, respectively, off the bench, while sophomore Madalynn Bassett chipped in 13 with nine boards. Prunty and Rodriguez earned their first career double-doubles with 12 and 10 rebounds, while freshman Jocelyn Medina dished out eight assists.

Butte (19-1) has a couple of weeks off before starting Golden Valley Conference play, heading to Redwoods first on Saturday, Jan. 13 for a 1 p.m. tip.
