Freshman point guard Campbell Vieg is the Butte Athletics January Female Athlete of the Month.

In January, Vieg directed the Roadrunner offense to a 4-0 mark, extending the team's winning streak to 20, while maintaining the top ranking in the state.

Overall, Vieg shot 57.1 percent from the field (20-of-35), averaging 11.5 points per game and scoring a career-high (at that time) of 18 points at Redwoods. She racked up 23 steals (5.75 spg), 18 assists (4.5 apg), and nine rebounds (2.25 rpg). 

She shot a career-best (at that time) 75 percent against Shasta on 6-of-8 shooting, following it up with a 60 percent performance (3-of-5) at Lassen.
