Bio

Justin Scheringer joined the Butte women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2019, helping lead the program to back-to-back conference championships. He has a wealth of basketball knowledge, which has helped elevate the program.

Prior to joining the Butte women's basketball program, he spent two seasons coaching boys basketball at Pleasant Valley High School, helping lead the program on a state championship run for the first time in school history. Prior to that, he was the freshman boys basketball assistant coach while also helping with the varsity squad. In 2017-18, he was part of the coaching staff that helped lead the Pleasant Valley High School team to its first CIF State Championship, capping the season with a 32-2 record.

Schneringer also served as the freshman boys basketball head coach at Chico High School for two seasons.

As an athlete, Schneringer played at Shasta College, where he continued to be a student of the game and developed his passion for coaching.
