South Lake Tahoe, Calif. - The Butte women's soccer team recorded 11 shots, five on goal, but the Roadrunners fell 2-0 at Lake Tahoe on Friday afternoon.
Sophomores Faith Burnett and Amber Thorpe each earned a pair of shots on goal with Thorpe taking three total shots.
Freshman Deana Marshbanks played all 90 minutes in the goal, earning five saves.
Butte (5-7) return home to host Siskiyous next on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m.
