Madison Kalberer, Women's Track and Field

Sophomore heptathlete Madison Kalberer is the Butte Athletics March Female Athlete of the Month.

In March, Kalberer continued to post top marks for the Roadrunners, earning her second B standard mark in the heptathlon at the Wildcat Cup (March 17-18) and tallying a number of top finishes at meets.

She opened up March picking up a first place finish at the Cody Beaumont Invitational (March 3) in the 100 meters (12.85) before helping the 4x100 meter relay team to a B standard and top finish in a time of 49.91. She finished the day with a seventh place in the javelin (70-10).

At the Chico Invite (March 11), she placed third in the 100 meters (12.91), third in the 200 meters (26.85), and third in the 4x100 meter relay (50.84) against a mixture of NCAA Division II, NAIA, and CCCAA student-athletes.

And she rounded out the month at the Pat Ryan Invitational (March 24), posting a sixth place finish in the 100 meters (12.72), fourth in the 200 meters (26.32), first in the 4x100 meter relay (51.42), and third in the 4x400 meter relay (4:14.76) - a B standard mark.
