Norman, Schroeder Punch Tickets to 3C2A State Championships In Heptathlon
Sacramento, Calif. - Sophomores Julia Norman and Talynn Schroeder each punched their tickets to the 3C2A State Track and Field Championships in the heptathlon at the NorCal Multis Championships.
The duo boosted the Butte women's track and field team into second place with nine points heading into the NorCal Regional meet, hosted by American River College on May 3-4.
Norman, who finished third overall, scored 3986, while Schroeder placed sixth with a score of 3793.
On the men's side, sophomore Brandon Smith finished 11th with a score of 4873 in the decathlon.
