Saratoga, Calif. - The Butte women's volleyball team wrapped the 2023 non-conference schedule with a 3-1 loss at West Valley on Friday afternoon. Set scores were 18-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.
Sophomore Alexis Kearney led the Butte offense with 11 kills, while sophomore Kylie Walsh earned a team-high 13 digs. Freshman Zoey James tallied a double-double with 12 assists and 10 digs, while freshman Koya Porter blocked a match-high four attacks with four aces.
Butte (3-12) returns home to open conference play, hosting Redwoods first on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
