Oroville, Calif. - Freshman Koya Porter racked up 15 kills to lead the Butte women's volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Siskiyous on Friday evening.
Set scores were 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-15.
Friday's match as also Sophomore Night, in which Riley Gainza posted 10 digs and two aces, Alexis Kearney earned eight kills and one block, and Kylie Walsh racked up 18 digs with four assists and a pair of aces.
Freshmen Audrey Jones and Rylee Keim chipped in eight kills apiece, while freshman Zoey James counted a double-double with 21 assists and 13 digs, adding a pair of aces. On defense, Keim blocked three Eagle attacks with nine digs.
Butte (7-18, 4-4) remains home to host No. 2 Feather River on Wednesday, Nov. 8 for a 6 p.m. match.
