Redding, Calif. - Sophomore Aidan Moore and freshman Connor Pawlowski both went yard to lead the Butte baseball team to a 9-5 win over Shasta on Wednesday afternoon.
Pawlowski led all batters with a 3-for-4 performance with a pair of RBI and runs, while sophomore Jake Agarwal also earned three hits on five at bats. Moore's long ball earned him a team-high three RBI. Overall, three Roadrunners earned multi-hit outings.
On the hill, sophomore Bryson Reif (5-0) earned the win for the Roadrunners, tossing seven complete with eight strikeouts. Sophomore Kyle Kucich tallied his fourth save of the year in his two innings, allowing a pair of hits while also fanning a pair.
Butte (24-4, 12-2) heads back to Shasta looking to complete the five-game sweep on Thursday, Apr. 6. First pitch is slated for 12 p.m.
