Sehorn Captures First; Leads Men's Cross Country to GVC Title

Eureka, Calif. - Freshman Liam Sehorn captured the Golden Valley Conference Men's Cross Country title, leading the Roadrunners to the team championship on Friday morning.

Sehorn completed the four-mile course in 22:52 with freshman Matthew Garcia close behind (23:04). Sophomore David Gonzalez was the third scorer, finishing sixth, in a time of 24:31, while freshman Andre Mota finishing eighth overall (24:54), seventh in scoring, and freshman Jeremiah Knoch rounding out the scoring competitors and finishing ninth overall (24:55).

The Roadrunners will compete at the NorCal Championships next on Friday, Nov. 5 at Sierra College. The four-mile men's race is slated to begin at 11 a.m.
