Pair Advances to CCCAA State Cross Country Meet

Rocklin, Calif. - Freshmen Liam Sehorn and Matthew Garcia led the Butte men's cross country team to a ninth place finish at the NorCal Cross Country Championships at Sierra College on Friday morning.

Sehorn was the top finisher for the Roadrunners, earning 22nd place in a time of 21:29.3 over the four-mile course. Garcia was close behind with a 27th place finish in 22:58.4. Freshmen Andre Mota (62nd - 24:40.5) and Jeremiah Knoch (64th - 24:47.4) and sophomore David Gonzalez (65th - 24:51.1) rounded out the scoring group for the squad.

Sehorn and Garcia will compete at the CCCAA Cross Country Championships, hosted by Fresno City College, on Saturday, Nov. 20. The men's race will start at 11 a.m.
