Playoff Road for Top-Seeded Butte Starts against 16th-Seeded Merced

Oroville, Calif. - The top-seeded Butte women's basketball team hosts 16th-seeded Merced for the CCCAA Women's Basketball Northern Regional Round Two game on Saturday, Feb. 25. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Roadrunners enter the matchup after finishing first for the third-straight season in the Golden Valley Conference with a 24-3 overall record, 9-1 in conference play. Merced finished third in the Central Valley Conference with an 18-11 overall record, 8-4 in league competition.

The winner of the contest will advance to the CCCAA Women's Basketball Northern Regional Final, facing the winner of No. 8 Folsom Lake or No. 9 Feather River on Saturday, Mar. 4.

CCCAA postseason ticket prices are in effect. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $8 for senior citizens (60+), children 12 and under, students (with valid ID), and faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Butte Athletics Box Office or via credit card or check at the door. No cash will be accepted for entry.
